Azita Ghanizada

Azita An. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has appeared in many television series. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. Her parents left for the US where they were granted asylum. Ghanizada was brought up in Northern Virginia and is the second child in a family of two sisters. Ghanizada's on-air career began by appearing in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada appeared as Chiara in the Laura Neri production A Kiss on the Nose (2003). In recognition of her performance, she received a nomination during the Festival of Cannes for Best Actress. The TV shows she guest starred in are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NuMB3RS bones Psych as well as Castle. Recent roles include an appearance as a character in Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was cast in her role in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital that was telecast on primetime television. In season 2, Night Shift, Ghanizada was the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra who is a holistic doctor. Ghanizada was seen as Kelly, the Prada actress in HBO's Entourage.
